1. Purpose & Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") establishes the mandatory rules governing the creation of QR codes, landing page publishing, file hosting (PDFs and images), API integration, and redirection services provided by QRnaly.com.

Our mission is to deliver clean, fast, and secure QR infrastructure. We enforce zero tolerance for malicious activities that threaten scanner security, deceive consumers, or abuse platform infrastructure.

2. Prohibited Uses & Activities

You may not use QRnaly services to generate QR codes, upload content, or link to destinations involving any of the following 14 prohibited categories:

1. Illegal Activities & Contraband:

Content or services that violate applicable central, state, or international laws, including illicit substances, unlicensed gambling, or prohibited goods.

2. Phishing & Credential Harvesting:

Deceptive login portals, fake banking screens, OTP interception pages, or social engineering pages designed to steal passwords or financial credentials.

3. Malware, Spyware & Exploits:

Links leading to drive-by downloads, ransomware, trojans, keyloggers, cryptominers, or unauthorized mobile device configuration profiles.

4. Financial Scams & Deceptive Offers:

Ponzi schemes, fake lottery claims, unauthorized crypto-doubler schemes, extortion attempts, or fraudulent commercial representations.

5. Impersonation & Trademark Infringement:

Misleading scanners by unauthorized usage of official brand logos, government insignia, or business names without verified ownership or legal authorization.

6. Spam Campaigns & Unsolicited Blasts:

Embedding QRnaly shortlinks in bulk unsolicited SMS, automated WhatsApp spam blasts, or abusive email marketing in violation of anti-spam regulations.

7. Intellectual Property Violations:

Uploading or linking to pirated digital media, copyrighted PDF publications, or proprietary software without valid license or fair-use right.

8. Privacy Violations & Non-Consensual Media:

Publishing personal telephone numbers, private identification records (Aadhaar, PAN, SSN), or intimate imagery without explicit written consent.

9. Security Attacks & Exploitation:

Port scanning, SQL injection probing, fuzzing, cross-site scripting (XSS) payloads, or denial-of-service attacks directed at QRnaly or external systems.

10. Resource & Infrastructure Abuse:

Using QRnaly document hosting as a generic CDN, backup store, or bulk file sharing server unrelated to legitimate QR landing experiences.

11. Rate-Limit & Quota Bypass:

Subverting server-enforced API quotas, bypassing active Dynamic QR caps, or circumventing storage limits via automated tampering.

12. Account Farming & Sybil Tactics:

Mass-registering disposable accounts to evade Free Dynamic trial caps or obscure coordinated malicious campaigns.

13. Deceptive URL Cloaking & Cloaked Redirects:

Configuring an initial benign destination URL during creation, and later rotating the dynamic destination to an unverified or malicious link.

14. Dangerous Protocols:

Attempting to encode dangerous or executable pseudo-protocols such as javascript:, data:, or file: in dynamic redirection targets.

3. Public Abuse Reporting Mechanism

Any scanner or third party who encounters a suspicious, deceptive, or violating QRnaly shortlink may submit a formal report via our canonical abuse reporting system at qrnaly.com/report-abuse.

Reports require the canonical Public QR Slug (e.g. q-abc123), a categorized violation reason, and an optional description. All reports are logged, deduplicated, and reviewed by our trust & safety moderation team.

4. Proportionate Moderation & Enforcement

We apply a proportionate, multi-layered risk evaluation rather than arbitrary automatic deletions:

Automated Safety Validation: High-risk destination patterns are checked against global security blocklists upon saving.
Content Under Review: When a report is received, the QR code may enter under_review status. The public screen displays "Content Under Review" while verification occurs.
Suspension for Confirmed Violations: Upon confirmation of malicious activity, the resource is marked suspended and routing is disabled immediately.
Law Enforcement Cooperation: Where required by valid court orders or statutory notices under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, QRnaly promptly complies with lawful directives.

5. Owner Due Process & Appeals

If your Dynamic QR code or hosted document has been placed under review or suspended and you believe this action occurred in error, you may submit a formal appeal with supporting proof of ownership and destination legitimacy to support@qrnaly.com.
